trucku is mainly a good informative show. it is just that there seems to be an effort by someone to try and attract a younger audience. that's when they start to throw in all of the dude stuff.
thursday i was watching as matt and bruno were explaining how to install a garage pak compressed air delivery system in a shop. it was really a good presentation when, all of a sudden, as if from off camera someone said "hey all of the young audience is tuning you out, better throw in some dudes and cool man stuff."
i like the show, but why is it necessary to have all those comments? even my son, who often watches automotive shows with me and is 20 years old says it sounds dumb.

what did you say??

LOL!

actually, the biggest issue with the show that I have is that there is the 5 min commercial for battery tenders, clark towels, dupli-color. There has to be some more sponsors that would throw money at a show like this.

But there needs to be some entry level shows to get people prepared for shows like Gearz.
If there isn't any heavy fab work, you can have s truck show presented by a drag race driver and a guy with more grease in his hair then he gets on his hands.
