which is a better truck?

Hi i am new to the site, although i always catch any show of rebuilding on speed, I hope you guys guys can help me by giving advise on my questions!

I am looking at buying either an 08 dodge 6.7 cummins or an 08 duramax. What i am woundering now is which is the faster more powerful sturdery truck? I want to make sure i buy the truck that best suits me but i want to know which truck stands up to upgrades better, which truck is better off road and which truck is overall more durable to every day abuse and racing?

If anyone would be able to help me out with my question that would be great!

The 2009 4.5L duramax half ton will be the fastest diesel. It will tow about the same load as the first generation of duramaxs 6.6.

Cummins good. But the dodge body isn't all that great. Interior isn't special. Automatic transmission is so-so.

Towing they come pretty close. The duramax has alot of upgrades right now. I don't know about the new 6.7 cummins. The duramax gets better fuel mileage.

I would get the cummins if you tow something heavy everyday.
