I've been doing some reading on swallows. And I think this weekend I'm going to make a few swallow bird houses. I'm hoping to get a few birds here to swoop around and eat all these stupid bugs. Has anyone else tried this? Hopefully they will eat a good majority of mosquitoes when they come. Today I was outside and couldn't be out very long because of the thousands of little biting gnats. It was terrible even with bug spray on, it was buzz here and buzz there and buzz in your ear and nose. Maybe by attracting some swallows alot of these bugs would be gone.

Build some Bathouses also. They eat an unbelievable amount of mosquitoes, pounds of them and any other bug thats in the air.

The more they eat the merrier. I made 4 little houses for them. One in each corner of the yard, Have to see which ones get used and which ones don't. Then I may have to move some houses around which is no biggy.
